1. What terma is
Terma is a personal tool for tracking what you pay, when it renews, and when you can cancel it. It is not financial advice, and it does not act on your behalf with any third party — it only tracks what you tell it or what it reads from a document you upload.
2. Plans
Terma is offered on three tiers: Free, Plus, and Pro. Paid tiers renew automatically on the billing cycle you chose (every 4 weeks or yearly) until you cancel. Current prices are always shown in the app before you upgrade.
3. Cancelling and refunds
- You can cancel a paid plan at any time from within the app; it stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.
- If you're a consumer in the EU/EEA or UK, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal on a new subscription. Starting to use a Pro feature immediately may affect that right where the law allows it to be waived by explicit consent.
- The one-time "remove ads" purchase is non-recurring and, once used to unlock the feature, is not refundable except where required by law.
4. Your data and content
What you enter or upload stays yours. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what's stored where. You're responsible for the accuracy of what you enter — terma surfaces reminders and price checks based on that data, but the underlying contract with your provider is between you and them, not us.
5. AI-assisted reading
Document scanning and price lookups use an AI model to read and summarize what you upload or ask about. It can misread a document or return an outdated price — always double-check anything terma extracted before relying on it for a real deadline or payment decision.
6. Availability and liability
Terma is provided "as is." We aim to keep it running and your data intact, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability, and to the maximum extent permitted by law we're not liable for losses caused by an outage, a bug, a missed reminder, an inaccurate AI-assisted reading, or a price a third-party provider changed on their end. We're also not responsible for decisions you make based on what terma shows you, or for your relationship with the service you're tracking — that contract is between you and them, not us. Keep your own record of anything with a real financial deadline.
7. Trademarks
Brand names and logos shown in the app (for example Netflix, Spotify, or your energy provider) belong to their respective owners. We show them only to help you recognize the services you already use — this doesn't imply any affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement by those companies, and terma is not associated with them.
8. Changes
We may update these terms as the app changes. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
